The Wide Sea of Mental Slavery

“Emancipate yourself from mental slavery”,
Bob Marley said it,let us do it!
To see it you must believe it,
freedom will reach the limit you give it.
Men, do not oppress the women and
women do not distress the men.

Her agony and fury bleeds
like the ink of my pen, she says

Looking at me you have to be
blind to not see something’s wrong with me,
im just trying to be a woman
do right and keep strong,
but lately I’ve been thinking
I did something wrong. For

you dont value the good things I do
not even I love you and  thank you
instead im used and abused
My mind and heart is so bruised
and so for revenge you pay, cause
 you,re to blame all the way from creation
day

But the man says

Why me? Sometimes I feel so lonely
like the world doesn’t hear me, feel me
would someone rescue me
or let me drift away
and drown myself in the wide sea
of mental slavery.
