I Never Knew (Ironic)

I never knew I would be here writing this poem.

I never knew I could even write.

But things have a funny way of turning out how they should-

I never knew I could reach for the sky

So for a long, long time... I didn’t bother try

I never knew I was meant to be the way HE meant

 me to be,

And so hiding my gift from the world

turned a curse that I viewed as reality.

And my experiences,-A bridge to the highway

of fate and opportunity

It is ironic, it is comedic, it is funny

Like Bob Marley said it best- don’t worry!

One preacher told me in this life you never know

When I recall that was seven years ago.

I hope you see the essence of what im trying to say

Seven years ago could you picture yourself today

They say God gives and God takes away

And life is a long road trip and nobody can tell you the way

This poem is not just a  babbling of words

This poem  has no date but will come to pass

This poem is history in the making, its breathtaking

This poem will be repeated long after Im gone

So who knows what our future holds

The reason I live is to see how the movie unfolds

one thing I know time is no mans friend and

The rest is still Unwritten- Natasha Bedingfield,- its not yet the end.
