Trapped in the storm, he's
going crazy, they dont pay
him no mind.
He wants to live so he hides
like fears captive in disguise.
To stand like men before who died,
the straight and narrow or the open wide?
Clark Kent who are you?
your mystery is spent in jacket and tie.
You slave a nine to five for that money
but just like the game you too are funny
Moving in and out you do your best
it seems, to save the lost, helpless and oppressed.
For just like them, you too are lost
in a glasses frame to hide your real name.
You take the bruises fare and square
it seems, you are not one like us working here.
Nobody even knows who you are
Still, still you 'shine' at night like a star.
buried is the mystery of this man Kent
trying not to be a part of that oppressive hell bent.
Before saving others, save yourself!
coping with the order you join the ranks
We know, that you do your utmost best
the best you can for all the rest.
moving in and out and up about
a double life deceptions thrive
Oh,so you are not really the one who died
who bore it all and didnt hide.
Reality kicks, its over now!
quickly, quickly you will take a bow!
And though you rhyme in red and blue
you dont compare by far to a Jew
Where does it end? Where does it end?
those who know you are truly few
If all the rest wouldn't stand with you
maybe, maybe they'd reveal your secrets too.
If they only knew who you are
being alone and misunderstood by far.
But as for me, I know who you are!
I figured you out, you want me gone!
to drown me in the prison you built
And blame me for all the blood of life you spilt.
You are not perfect, Mr so dont you hide.
the straight and narrow or the open wide?
