The Paper

The paper, when did it begin?

Before printing Machines,

before laser beams, was ancient Rome.

Ancient Rome, yes, Ancient Rome

was the home of the written news.

 But how was news written

 before printing machines

before laser beams? 

1450 saw the printing press,

1450 and Venice Italy 16^th century. 

Like wild fire it spread to the

rest of Europe and the west.

 To replace the oral tradition of teaching

and preaching,

now record keeping,

the awesome “power of the written word”

was heard.
