Eyes Wide Open

In the land of a thousand unknown mysteries
where you can be anything you wish to be,
be careful in these streets or you'll be history.
I opened my eyes wide open, to see the truth
for lies they try to hide from me inevitably
so I ask my mind to be my guide on the road to reality

In the land where anything goes
you gotta be strong to stay on your toes,
to be all the best you can be, and lord knows.
In the land where self inflicted fantasies can be
your greatest comfort yet the  biggest setbacks
 lies distract those weighed and found wanting.

I cant believe my eyes this wonderland
Ive come to see, this tragedy
of good intentions, this blessed calamity
unsolved like a crime scene of immense global propensity
open your eyes wide open and see if you dont believe me

In this universal catastrophe
everybody's singing the same sad song as if
programmed like a robotic gong
play the game, play the game, the world dark
like a thriller amusement park
and thats just the beginning like the alphabet
the script reads on your mark get set...

Listen up carefully and keenly

sinister schemes make for sinister dreams
blasting the airwaves like minister teams,
watch the ministers fold, for the minister knows
 so the minister goes to
craftfully steal your minister soul,
they are minister cold
 that is their minister goal.

The evil that men do
But the truth you dare not reveal, intend to
or they'll send you away while everyone
prays for you, a victim of the system, the irony of ironies
signed and sealed, mental madness the diagnosis

you can run but you cant hide, talking to yourself
you're all alone, nobody hears you scream
they will use the people against you, but
all you need is a friend to shake and wake you from
this terrible nightmare you fear,

hear me o hear me
There is a very thin line between
sanity and insanity, remember its been years
since my tears have dried, since
the day I found out Ive been cheated and lied.
