The old clock is ticking life way
second after second day after day
Life itself cannot be measured or
defined, no man really knows
or returned from the other side.
But few things is for certain
if you not growing you not alive,
if you not learning you not living.
... Here today, gone tomorow- thats life.
always evolving always changing
never remaining the same.
Dont go in too deep
reach inside and overstand
then reach out and comprehand
that you are not 'it' so be humble
dont take 'shit' too serious
oops just said it
now let it go and remember
each one is on a journey
we pass each other time to time
every being on the planet MUST grow
must survive or cease to exist
that which does not exist is not.
yo let people go if they have to go
dont force your way into peoples
circles, you are responsible for
your circle and your circle only
if you exit yur circle thats yur
own risk, so focus on your circle
and not that of others,
if you lend respect you should
get it back with interest
people are on different levels u see
different stages of their growth
forgive but dont forget, use upstairs
or climb downstairs
people have secrets just like you do
so dont publicize the issues of others
let them work out their own problems
dont be too involved in peoples
business, mind yur own and whatever
does not concern you just leave
it alone, yet,
dont forget those who helped you
dont ignore the ones below you
cuz they were once you, you
never made it on your own hence
you have to give something back
if you cut a tree, plant three
if you receive freely, give free
every soul that comes here has a
uniqueness, a gift, a value
this value comes from the creator
the source of life, that cannot
be taken away, cuz we are each a
piece of God, made in his image
not everything in life make sense
but you can make some sense out
of life- its called choice
dont be fooled or be schooled
follow the crowd and go down loud
wisdom is shouting in the streets
you have to speak her language
its called silence
and taste her food for though
sleep in her bed, make love to her
realize and dont compromise
many pretend to be who they are not
Pharisees in the most unlikely places
be careful of those who pray too much
be careful of the over religious, preachy
Be careful of those who shout God God!
be careful of hills, if you climb too high
you can fall off- do you overstand me?
just as you think it, that it is
like wolf in sheep clothing
but the time is coming
when the real will be genuine
so be careful what you wish for
cuz you just might get it
no man lives forever, just remember
nobody walking this earth surface
is perfect, no man or woman is
better than you, no matter what
they say or do, I speak to me too
there's a brush in your hand
and paint in your head
find a way to use that head
before you are dead
