HOUSE ON FIRE

A rich man had a house, and in that house he lived well.
he loved that house but did not do well by it
he had servants in that house and many laborers in it
and whenever it would rain the poor of the village men
women and children would rest under its sheds,
then the rich man would see what they do and remove them.

One day while the rich was asleep a fire kindled at the
lower portions, the servants and those beneath gave
a warning to all those in the house shouting
house on fire!, house on fire!, but the rich man was
all the way on the last floor that he could not
hear and worse he was fast asleep.Few people
did hear and manage to come out of the house
and they were safe before the house collapsed
except the few, no one else was saved. because
they did not hear, even though the warning was given.
