2012 (short poem)
Thank God who kept me alive to see this year
I know 2012 ain't the end of the world no fear
but I kid you not its the beginning of something
don't know what it is but I feel it in my soul
Im not sleeping anymore Ive awakened to life
See I cant really explain, very little evidence
but my best poems were born in 2012,no coincidence
My energy fluctuates like a light going dim
I have to ask the lord what really is happening
The whole world the spirit world there is a shift
Like a river tide must stand firm or else I drift
Ive written more this year than any year before
don't know whats coming but somethings coming 4 sure
and there's no time to doubt you have to believe
get oil to trim our lamps or we wont receive
Im being cleansed pure and washed all the time
Im becoming wiser and stronger in my inner mind
Sitting on my balcony chillin and holdin a meditation
Woe!For what is coming will need lots of preparation
